I'm a NURSE. A hopeless romantic person. Waiting for MR. RIGHT to come along at the right time and place. I have passion for culinary and arts. Love travels and adventures. And most of all PHOTOGRAPHY interests me much!
This was taken during our tour at Cebu Zoo. Me and Joey have nothing to do during our off at the review so we decided to go around the city and discover their hidden treasures. And we did had lots of fun having our tour.
June is a very special month for fathers, b'cos this is the only time that they could be given credits for being a good dad in the whole wide world. I know that they shouldn't just be given thanks only in this month but throughout their lives...and it only means that we should express our gratitude to our fathers (mothers) everyday as we live.
What kind of father do you have?
I was touched with this question from a story I've read about two brothers who had grown up with a not so good dad. They were both being beaten up every time their dad is drunk. They both had families of heir own but still living on the same street. The other son became just like his dad. While the other became his dad's opposite. One day a neighbor came over their houses and asked them the same question "What kind of father do you have?", the son who's just like his dad answered I grew up with an alcoholic dad who always beats me up without any reasons and b'cos he's not a good example of an ideal father, I grew up just like him. And the other son answered the same question, I grew up with an alcoholic dad who always beats me up without any reasons and b'cos he's not a good example of an ideal father, I don't want my children to experience whatever I've been through during my childhood, and that's one reason why I don't want to follow the steps of my father and rather choose to become a good father to my children...
Maybe some of you who happen to read my post can somehow relate with the story or others may be luckier not to experience this. I'm as well can relate with the story I've just shared b'cos same as the two sons, I also grew up with a not so good/ ideal father. And b'cos I'm now a mom to my only child, I don't want her to experience whatever not so good experience I had in my childhood...and that's one reason that I talked to Joey with disciplining our child. I wanted our child to have us her parents whom she can trust and treat not only as her parents but her best friends as well. We wanted her to grew up without any conditions, but rather teach her to become a better person she can be, never afraid of taking risks but also must be responsible of her actions by knowing her limitations...
So this post I dedicate to the father of my daughter, daddy Joey, who's a very supportive dad to Chin. A loving father and her best friend, who sometimes teaches her no good and sometimes very protective (minsan O.A na) lol ...*wink* (just kiddin')...Happy Father's Day!...*SMOOCHES

It's been 6 months later after I took and passed my board examination for nurses. And here I am now, so excited for my a one week of hospital orientation starting this coming Monday (June 13, 2011) and for the next Monday for the start of my regular duty days as a nurse. I was apprehensive a few months ago waiting for a positive response on my job application at the city hospital. Sometimes I think so negative, but good thing is that I'm more on an optimist...and that made me to have what I've always wanted. Just last week, I was told by the chief OIC of the hospital where I sent my job application to come for an examination and for interview with Dr. Javellana who's the hospital director. And yesterday, I just received a SMS from her telling me to come back on Monday for our orientation...I'm very happy knowing that no matter what difficulties that come my way, still God is always by my side and never left me...and that b'cos I know that I am always been loved by Him. ;)
During the month of May, Binalbagan a town in Negros Occidental, celebrates its festivity. It is a week-long celebration of the Binalbaganon's from May 8 or 9 which is the opening of the festival up to the 15th which is the highlight of the said celebration. There were lots of fun and exciting activities which are organized by the LGO's together with the town Mayor Alejandro "Bebot" Y. Mirasol and Vice Mayor Aranda. Due to the typhoon which strikes the Philippines once again, some days during the festivity were a bit wet. But luckily not having rains during the last 2 days of the fiesta. Before it was called "Lumbayag Festival" now it was change to "Balbagan Festival" which they say that long time ago, the whole town was being crossed by a big snake and the Hiligaynon term was "ginbalabagan". On the 7th day of May there was a program at the plaza which showcase the talents of the candidates of the Miss Teen Binalbagan. On the opening day 9th of May was the Coronation Night but me and my friends weren't able to watch it due to weather constraints. On the 11th was a Dance Showdown with the Dance Idols. On the 14th was the SMB Night which is a street party with live bands (party all night long) and fireworks display at midnight. For me this is my most favorite day of the festivity. Below were some photo's we have during the SMB Night.

On the 15th was the highlight of the fiesta, first we went to my bff house Aruba to greet her a happy birthday. We then proceeded to Kcas house and have our lunch at tita Inday's (mine and Kcas aunt) with friends. After lunch we watch the dance parade of the different barangay's for the annual Balbagan dance competition. Then another party mode during the night.

Another fun memories with friends worth keeping!;)
This coming June 7 will be the first day in school of my cutie babe, and as a first time mommy I am very excited seeing her learning new things in school. Last 2 weeks ago, we went To FBS (Fellowship Baptist School) to enroll our babe for toddler since she just turned 3 years last May 8... and luckily she was enrolled. I was a bit nervous writing info on her school registration paper, since it was my first time and in there they also asked me what are the traits my daughter has to better understand her during class hours...and I write in there the she has "tantrums and is very hyperactive". Then we paid her tuition for the whole year which cost 8, 600 php excluding books, since she's just a toddler, they will not be using any books as of the moment, only for the daily activities they'll be having . And Yesterday we went to buy her cloths for her school uniform and her black school shoes. Then we went to a tailor to have her uniform sewn and we'll be gettin' it 2 weeks later. As of the moment while waiting for my duty in the hospital, I suggested my MIL that I will be the one to accompany her at school. Her time schedule will be 12:30 up to 2:00 in the afternoon.
I'm looking forward for the next few days of class opening if she'll be doing great in school...and at the same time hoping she will be handled by her teachers...*wink*
