During day-offs last review days my mates decided to pay a church visit, and choose to go to Simala.

That was my first time to go there cos the previous plan me and my hunny made was canceled due to change in our review schedule, and at last I'll be goin' there...(but much more happier if I'm with him...sigh). Anyway, my mates meet at E-mall and hire Efren's L300 as our service. We travel aboout 1 1/2 hour from the city proper goin' there, we just used the SRP to avoid traffic along the way.

The place is very solemn and beautiful, though it was still under renovation when we went there. Many devotees of Mama Mary came here to pray and some write their petition prayers and wait for it to be granted. A lot of famous people also came here like Manny Paquiao who is a world boxer champion... and lots of devotees can atest to its miraculous ways...I was also one of them, my prayers were granted to for me and my friends pass the board exam for nursing last December 19-20, 2010. You can also offer a dedication mass to someone you're praying. In the hallway located the candle stands where you'll have to place the blessed candles but have to pay Php 5.00 for each, as it serves as donation for the maintenance and renovation of the place.
