A Couple's Heartbreak

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for work so he asked the wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. The mother, preoccupied in the kitchen, totally forgot the matter.

The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle and, fascinated with its color, drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed, the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.

When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just four words.

What do you think were the four words?

The husband just said “I Love You Darling”

The husband’s totally unexpected reaction is proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he have taken time to keep the bottle away, this will not have happened. No
point in attaching blame. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.

Sometimes we spend time asking who is responsible or who to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know. We miss out some warmth in human relationship in giving each other support. After all, shouldn’t forgiving someone we love be the easiest thing in the world to do? Treasure what you have. Don’t multiply pain, anguish and suffering by holding on to forgiveness.

If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

Take off all your envies, jealousies, unwillingness to forgive, selfishness, and fears and you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think.

Reality

In life, we are faced with losing our first loves and our best friends.
We have to face the of losing our loved-ones to death.
We live with our regrets of the mistakes we make in life.

How can you love and trust again when you have been hurt over and over again at a young age.
How do you get past all this pain.
This is reality.

Death, departure, walk away, walk out
Should I or should I not pout.

Family and friends
Lovers and one-night stands

I have loved, lost and lived
How do I trust, how do I love again

I should move on, it's all in my past
But my pain remains, continues and lasts

This pain lingers in my heart, mind and soul
Damn it - why is this world so cold

How can I have faith in God and family
When people I love are taken from me

Where can I find true and loyal friends
I'm sick of the lies, fights and revenge

Hurt continuously, hurt at a young age
How do I love again with all of my rage

How do I get past all of this, show me a sign
So I can leave my sadness, pain and crying behind.

Why Is It So Hard To Make An Easy Decision?

I was merely pointing out that sometimes, we tend to dwell upon
options which are easy to choose from, well sort of.
Often times, I do this, maybe this is why I'm so confused right
now. I'm stuck in the moment. Isn't it weird sometimes? How life is already
complex to begin with and we tend to make it even more
harder for ourselves by not choosing immediately. Sure, choosing
isn't that easy, I know.
But why is it that sometimes, even the more logical option is
quite obvious, we learn more to the option which isn't that logical but rather, more
of beneficial to us? Call it selfishness.
Whatever. Sometimes, we even make loop holes for it. I know I do
it. It's like, we throw in more PROS to one of the options and we
leave all the cons out for the other one. It's as if I'm giving
myself a harder time choosing. Ha! :)
Choices makes a big difference in our lives.
RIGHT and LOGICAL choices make an even bigger difference.
What if you made the wrong decision, but it still made sense to
you? That's the point of it all I guess. You're not supposed to
make all the right choices all the time. But most of the time,
you just have to choose.
CHOOSE. Jeez... Why is it so hard to do this? I mean, I can't just run away from it
all. hmm.. :)
Maybe. Perhaps. You simply have to learn from ALL the wrong
choices you've made. So that next time, you'll learn to use your
brain more. Jeez. The only trouble is, it's hard to execute
everything. Oh Great. Hmm.

It's a Blessing!

It was my day off and got nothing to do, so what I did was to open my email and was apprehensive with the mail I've received from jobstreet.com, a site where you can be able to receive updates about job hiring from different companies or agencies that meets both your standards and qualifications as well as with the companies or agencies that are hiring. And here I am, got an approval of my application, and I am now working as a Freelance Writer (company confidential), specifically an Email-based Writer which is my sideline job aside from working as a Registered Nurse. About my job, the company will be giving me assignments every day which they will be the one to give the topic that I'll be writing, same with the weekly memes which I am joining at blogger.com. But what's good in here is that I'll be receiving compensations from every assignments done and the salary I'll be receiving is worth for me to have my own savings and also for me to help my younger siblings. And as of now I am looking forward to receive a lot of writing jobs for more income..*wink* Thank God for all my blessings..

THINGS I'M THANKFUL FOR

" ....the mess to clean after a party
because it means I have been surrounded by friends.

....the taxes I pay
because it means that I'm employed.

....the clothes that fit a little too snug
because it means I have enough to eat.

....my shadow who watches me work
because it means I am out in the sunshine.

....a lawn that needs mowing,
windows that need cleaning
and gutters that need fixing
because it means I have a home.

....the spot I find at the far end of the parking lot
because it means I am capable of walking.

....all the complaining I hear about our government
because it means we have freedom of speech.

....my huge heating bill
because it means I am warm.

...the lady behind me in church who sings off key
because it means that I can hear.

....the piles of laundry and ironing
because it means my loved ones are nearby.

....weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day
because it means I have been productive.

....the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours
because it means that I'm alive.

....the friends and family I can share this message with
to remind us all what is important in life."
