Since Philippines is a tropical country, we only experience summer and rainy season. And during these times, summer is already experienced here. SOOC Sunday

Casa Verde, a restaurant famous for its Baby Back Ribs & King's Burger...na talagang dinudumog ng mga tao, may it be Pinoy or Foreign...it is located 3rd floor of Ayala Center, Cebu City.

The first time I ate here was when Gerry my friend invited us to a dinner with her family at Ayala and choose the place to dine. The place is so elegant, and masasabi mo na talagang pangmayaman...but the prices were affordable anyway and everyone can afford the foods...

Baby Back Ribs with Side Dish Veggies

Php 175 for the BBR which is so sulit, cos' super laki ng meat, kahit dalawa kayo mag-share pwede...for sure busog na busog ka when you left the place..

King's Burger

Another is the Kings Burger which costs Php 350...it measures 10-12 inches wide and 3-4 inches tall...with meaty patty, lettuces, tomatoes, and sandwich dressing...Me and Joey bought one when we went back to Cebu last Sunday...and believe it or not...almost 24hrs pa namin naubos yung burger kasi super laki...I guess 6-8 people can share with it!

So if you happen to visit Cebu and Ayala Center, I suggest you dine at Casa Verde...and surely you'll love the place and the foods...

Only one problem, there were only limited seats...sa sobrang dami ng kumakain dito, you have to have reservations first and wait for your turn before you can eat...but it's worth the wait!;)

Yummy Sunday

It's Yummy Sunday once again, gosh! I'm late for my post, cos' it was brown out the whole day yesterday, and there was no connection when the lights are back..;( But I still wanted to link up, and hope I'm not too late..*wink*

It was last March 30 when my parents gave us (me and my bro) a thanksgiving dinner at home (for passing my NLE and for the graduation in high of my bro). It's just a simple celebration but it means alot to our parents, we told them not to gave us party anymore cos' gastos lang but it's their decision and somehow, for them to feel proud seeing us succeed in our endeavors. So I helped my papa and granny with the food preparation. What I'll feature today is one menu that I've cooked on that day...the "Pork strips with veggies" or so called "Bistik" here in Philippines...

Yummy Sunday

Last December 31, I was assigned by my aunt to bake a chocolate cake for the New Year's Eve preparation...This is my first time to bake a chocolate cake, cos' I only bake Brazo de Mercedez before, and was anxious maybe I'll do it wrong and it won't be as what it really taste and looks...but I was happy with the result, as you can see below...it turns out fine,..and it taste good as well...*wink* so yummy that made me to want for more...

It's time again for a very Yummy Sunday...desserts is one of my favorite in every occasion, I can eat alot of desserts alone...lol...even without a main course...we'll I admit I have a sweet tooth and I don't care if I'll get fat as long as there are desserts in front of me...(minsan lang naman kasi eh!) But I'm body conscious din naman almost of the time..(wink)..

Here's my entry for this week, a Black Forest Cake which is one of the desserts prepared the day my aunt left for Tokyo....I also love baking, and looking forward to bake this one someday...I'm still looking for a recipe...;)

Cooking is my passion and during our day offs in the review I was the one cooking for my friends, I made this Beef Patties, Morcon and Veggies with a yummy gravy...We all had a wonderful meal and my friends all thanked me for the great lunch...busog na busog daw sila...;)
